IBF MULTI NATION JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS

Members of the Young Judo Club Sittingbourne, Bredgar, Milton Regis participated in the above event and came back with medals, local people have come to expect the YJC to take a hatful of medals from the Oldest Judo Club in Kent what was unique they won these medals when membership is at all time low.

Ashley Costa and Danny Carrott were the best fighters of the day with Danny winning his 4^th Multi Nations in a row; the youngsters who won medals had to fight really hard. Sometimes you get depressed with our membership numbers but when you see we can still win important tournaments you realise it is still worth while.

The Young Judo Club continues to offer lots of variations on Martial Arts in June we helping organise an International Kurash  (Jacket Wrestling from Uzbekistan)Tournament at the Swallows, in July we have MMA Sport CombatSombo  (Strike and Grapple) and Pankration Wrestling (this was done in the ancient Olympics), August we have our annual Summer Camp. In September we hope to add Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to our timetable.
