Competition Insurance for Open Competitions It has come to our attention that a local parent not connected to our club and has little experience in Judo has misunderstood some of the regulations with regard to insurance at our competitions and has subsequently misinformed other Judo clubs he visits, a little bit of thought would have gone a long way. Insurance Policy To participate in all Young Judo Club events each individual must have PA Insurance. Some associations allow their members in other organisations Open events some do not. For those who require insurance the YJC have negotiated with the IBF Insurance brokers a Day Cover which is £5 or a Years cover for all YJC events, BCSA sanctioned events, IBF sanctioned Open events for £12. It would be irresponsible for the YJC to allow competitors to enter an event without PA Cover. YJC Competition Committee |
