I am writing to you and your spouse to invite you to the Young Judo Club awards night on Saturday 9th January 2010 at the Cherry tree restaurant just up from the Swale Martial Arts Club The meal is a 3 course Buffet/Carve with a 60/70 disco afterwards to finish of the evening with a bang. This is a special night for our club as it is the second time for many years that we will be having such a awards night with 8 awards being presented including the OMA (Margret Clarke) memorial award and the Outsider Award which will be presented to someone outside the Young Judo Club and within the IBF who has done a lot or has helped our club in a big way. The evening is a shirt and tie do and the doors will be open at 6pm with the meal starting at 7pm sharp and the award starting at 9pm, if you wish to stay over there is a travel lodge near by or you are more than welcome to stay in our dojo free of charge. The cost of the evening will be £30 per person and if you would like to come and be apart of our special night please could you send your money to the address above and cheques made payable to John Clarke by end of November latest as we only have 70 places available. We also have a sponsor for all the raffle prices this year from a company called Cyberdog and Tim and his wife will at the awards night to hand out the awards for us.
